Returns and Refunds
Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges or refunds for purchases online due to change of mind. In the unlikelihood that goods are sent incorrectly, we do offer an exchange or refund. For faulty goods, the fault will be assessed and then either replaced or refunded.
If you would like to discuss an incorrect order or faulty goods, please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 working days of receiving your order.
Sale or marked down items are not refundable.
We offer the following flat rate shipping options.
- Auckland Metro (Albany to Bombay excluding Waiheke Island) $6.90
- Rest of North Island and Waiheke Island $9.20
- South Island $11.50
Please allow 1-2 working days for delivery. Alternatively, you can collect in person from our Deli Shop at Unit 3,84 Spartan Road, Takanini, Auckland.
Please note: Rural Deliveries may take longer depending on the exact location.
All orders are tracked and traced, we will provide you with a separate email with your tracking details. Please check your junk box if you do not receive an email with this information.
Gaults Deli does not accept responsibility for any goods not signed for on delivery. We regret we cannot accept PO Boxes as a delivery address. If you would like your order delivered to your work or business address please state delivery hours.
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship outside of New Zealand.
Please note chilled products will be sent via a non-chilled courier packed with ice.

As we operate in-store and online, customers are shopping from the same stock. If an item in our physical store is purchased and sold at the same time an online order for the item is placed, then the online item maybe unfortunately unavailable. In this rare case, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss offering you an alternative item or we will offer a refund.
All prices listed are in New Zealand Dollars and inclusive of GST.
On some occasions there could be errors made by our staff while adding products to the website, if we notice any error we notify the customers at the first instance. We reserve the right to cancel the order and offer you a full refund.
If the order has already been shipped we can offer you some compensation based on the price which the product should have been charged at. If we are unable to come to an agreement with you (customer) we will get the goods picked up at our expense and offer you full refund.
We will not honour any incorrect prices that happen due to human error, if you notice the price of any goods are substantially cheaper please email us at email@example.com to confirm the price before placing the order.
We use online payment platform which is a secure payment platform Payment Express that accepts Mastercard and Visa. We do not store your credit card details.
Emails and Newsletters
We will not share you email address with third parties if you join our mailing list. Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation and an additional email detailing courier tracking information.
Workshops/Tastings and Events
Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances we will have to cancel workshops, tastings and events. If this is the case we will notify you at a minimum 48 hours before the class commences and will offer a full refund, or a store credit if you wish.
