Italian Strolghino Salami is a soft, lean and incredibly delicate salami with a medium grinding, characterized by a sweet taste, a delicate aroma, an intense red colour and a soft consistency.
The Strolghino salami is a typical salami of Parma, produced with culatello (a type of ham). Strolghino is traditionally, among its fellow cured meat, the first one to be consumed due to its only 15 to 20 days of aging and is stronlgy linked to the production of Culatello. Culatello is only produced between October and February which means this salami s only available between late October and March.
